Kuwait Fund Concludes Participation in ATD Kuwait Summit 2024

The Kuwait Fund for Development concluded its participation in the exhibition accompanying the third annual ATD Kuwait summit on the talent and human resources development system. The summit was held during the period October 14-15 at the Jumeirah Hotel - Messilah Beach, under the slogan "Cultivating a Learning Culture to Develop Future Talent."

The Kuwait Fund's participation was part of its efforts to enhance cooperation in supporting human development within the State of Kuwait. Within its pavilion, the Fund showcased its role in raising the efficiency of the workforce through the annual "Training and Qualification Program for Newly Graduated Engineers and Architects," launched in 2004. Additionally, the Fund highlighted its many local social initiatives and activities that support the development and growth of the State of Kuwait.

The conference featured an elite group of international and local experts in the field of human resources development. Over the past two days, participants discussed visions, innovations, and key challenges facing training and development. Topics included enhancing leadership, human resources technology, strategic planning, and other methods of developing and educating employees.

The Acting Director-General of the Kuwait Fund, Mr. Waleed Shamlan Al-Bahar, explained that the annual "Training Program for Newly Graduated Engineers and Architects" is one of the developmental programs that the Fund prioritizes. Stemming from its firm belief in social responsibility, the program seeks to provide trainees with high-quality scientific and practical skills. This contributes to meeting the needs of the labor market and providing the private and public sectors with professional national cadres. As youth are the true wealth of the country, focusing on this important segment is crucial for developing and advancing Kuwait.
