BEIJING, Dec. 12 -- According to a written notice released by China's Hainan Maritime Safety Administration, military exercises are being conducted in a circular area in the South China Sea, with a radius of 6 nautical miles, centering on 19-36.87N 110-57.07E, from December 16 to 18, 18:00 to 20:00 daily. During this period, unrelated ships are banned from entering.
