Campus Safety Awareness Month: Safetember

September is Safetember! As we get back to campus, learn how to stay safe and familiarize yourself with campus resources:

• If you notice anything suspicious on campus contact University Police:
  • Non-emergency: (907) 786-1120
  • In emergencies on and off campus call 911
• Moose and bears visit UAA too:
  • Be aware of your surroundings.
  • Don't approach wildlife!
• If your plans involve alcohol:
  • Plan ahead!
  • Designate a sober driver and know your limits.
  • However you chose to celebrate, please do so in a safe manner.
• Prevent crimes of opportunity:
  • Be sure to lock your car and dorm.
  • Keep your belongings with you or out of sight.
