Early Morning Targeted Gunfire into an Old Hickory Duplex Kills 17 Year Old Resident

Homicide detectives are pursuing active leads in today's 12:45 a.m. targeted gunfire into a duplex at 901 Bryan Street in Old Hickory that fatally wounded the resident, Caleb Womack, 17.

Hermitage Precinct officers responded to the shots fired call and found Womack lying in the living room. He was rushed to Skyline Medical Center where he died shortly after arrival.

The investigation shows that Womack arrived home a short time before multiple shots were fired into the duplex from the roadway.
