ATTENTION: TWIA meeting to discuss proposed rate increase

The Texas Windstorm Insurance Association Actuarial and Underwriting Committee met this morning and approved recommending a 10 percent premium rate increase effective for 2025 policies to the Texas Department of Insurance Commissioner. The TWIA Board will meet to consider whether to submit the premium rate increase recommendation in the premium rate filing to the Texas Department of Insurance (DOI). The TWIA Board will meet at The Tremont House in Galveston at 9:00 am on August 6th.
