Apply To Serve The Community Through The City Of Las Vegas AmeriCorps Program

Over 60 Spots Available Starting Sept. 3

The city of Las Vegas AmeriCorps program allows residents 17 years and older to serve the community while also developing themselves and their careers. Applications are now open for 64 positions across a variety of focuses, including tutoring students and improving workforce equity.

Those interested in applying are encouraged to do so by Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024, as the program will start on Tuesday, Sept. 3. Depending on the focus area, those selected are able to earn up to a $20,020 stipend and $5,175.50 education award.

AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs that engages more than 200,000 Americans each year by helping local organizations expand capacity and make change. AmeriCorps members make a vital impact in the community through action and leadership, providing services such as youth education interventions, college and career supports to young adults, connecting families to resources and helping meet other critical needs in the community.
