WPG announces 2024 third quarter revenue of NT$259.069 billion and operating income of NT$3.883 billion hitting record high and second highest quarterly record for the period, QoQ +24.6% and +5.1%, YoY +38.3% and 31%, respectively. Under interest cost control, net income was NT$2.042 billion, QoQ +25.2%, YoY +28.3%. EPS was NT$1.22. YTD revenue, operating income and net income grew by 32.8%, 46.9% and 22.4%, reaching NT$648.946 billion, NT$10.832 billion, and NT$5.623 billion, respectively. EPS was NT$3.11, YoY +24.4%.
Return on Equity (ROE) and Return on Working Capital (ROWC) for the third quarter of 2024 were 9.6% and 9.7%, respectively.
Driven by the rapid development of generative AI, edge computing, and cloud services, application solutions in traditional and AI server, power, automotive and IoT related field continue to increase, laying a solid foundation for revenue growth. To provide better value-added service and increase market share, 39 application solutions were provided to our customers, including fields in Power (13), Automotive (8), AIoT(6), Smart Home (5), Wearable device(3), Industrial (2), Computer (1), Networking (1), focusing on 2KW 48V bidirectional ACDC energy storage power solution, digital power supply of 400W Microinverter, 6.6 kW on-board electric vehicle charger, single stage PFC power adapter/ 500W/400V PFC parallel connection, new MCU solutions promote the development of cutting-edge applications such as e-Mobility, ADAS, EEA and AI, mini LED backlight driver design, application of e-Compressor air compressor in new energy electric vehicles, vehicle positioning P-BOX with high-precision positioning chip, high-precision inertial navigation for intelligent cockpit, automotive cooling fan, IP Camera with a resolution of 2688x1520, 30 fps, and HDR support, Wi-Fi 7 immersive smart home network, LE Audio Broadcast speakers, AI intelligent electronic fence, machine vision AI Hub / intelligent audio headphones with AI computing power, Daisy Chain Topology HVBMS/ dynamic Lighting control for gaming.
