The Fargo Public Library is pleased to host an author talk and presentation with Eric D. Larson, writer of "Grounding Global Justice: Race, Class, and Grassroots Globalism in the United States and Mexico" on Thursday, Aug. 22, at 6:30 p.m. at the downtown Main Library. Larson's book offers a transnational history of the global justice movement in the United States and Mexico and reveals how farmers, urban workers and Indigenous peoples grounded their efforts to confront free-market reforms in frontline struggles for economic and racial justice. A book signing will follow, and books will be available for purchase. For details, contact Lori West at 701.476.5977.

Eric D. Larson is Associate Professor of Crime and Justice Studies, and Chairperson of the Department of Crime and Justice Studies at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.
