(HACKENSACK, N.J.) - County Executive Tedesco, the Board of Commissioners, and the County Parks Department announce the return of two-family friendly activities to Van Saun County Park.

After a brief hiatus, the pony ride concession has reopened thanks to a new agreement four-year agreement with concessionaire Ponies in the Park, LLC, who will assume operation of the Van Saun County Park pony ring and paddock facility. The pony ride concession will offer rides for $5 and operate on the following schedule:

Monday: 10am-12pm & 1-4pm

Tuesday: CLOSED

Wednesday: 11am-1pm and 2pm-6pm

Thursday: CLOSED

Friday: CLOSED

Saturday: 10am-2pm

Sunday: 10am-2pm

Van Saun County Park's beloved water splash pad has also reopened to the public after the completion of a renovation to upgrade the safety flooring, fix broken water sprinklers, and install a new control system. The splash pad will be open daily from 10am-4pm until Labor Day.
