WHY:
For the past 5 years, officers from the LAPD Community Safety Partnership Bureau from San Fernando Gardens have been working closely with community stakeholders and local organizations in the city of Pacoima to build a stronger relationship with the community. The collaboration between community stakeholders and the LAPD to organize a holiday event exemplifies the power of partnership in fostering a spirit of unity and goodwill. By coming together, we aim to create a festive atmosphere that not only celebrates the season, but also strengthens the bonds between law enforcement and the communities we serve. This event will provide an opportunity for all children attending to receive free toys for the holidays and for residents to engage with officers in a positive setting, share in the joy of the holidays, and cultivate lasting relationships. Together, we are committed to making this holiday event a memorable experience that highlights the importance of community engagement and collaboration.
