Single vehicle crash in Macomb Township

Macomb Township, MI - Today, at approximately 12:51PM, the Macomb County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) was dispatched to a single vehicle accident near the intersection of 21 Mile Road and Tilch Road in Macomb Township.

A Ford F-150 pickup truck left the roadway on the north side of 21 Mile and drove down an embankment. An unrestrained juvenile passenger was present in the vehicle. The juvenile was transported from the scene to an area hospital in critical condition and then transported to Children's Hospital.

The driver was also transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The Macomb County Crash Investigation Unit was called to the scene. The investigation is currently ongoing.
