DALLAS -At Moises E. Molina High School, teacher and coach Kerrie Pegues shares a special connection with her daughter, Ariel, a sophomore actively involved in sports, debate, and leadership. Although Ariel is zoned for another district, she chose to attend her mother's school, eager to embrace new challenges. Their relationship, which extends beyond home, has become a source of inspiration on campus. Kerrie's commitment to teaching and Ariel's dedication to her peers set an example for younger generations, contributing to the growth and legacy of the Molina community.

Dallas ISD elementary school to receive generous donation
Clinton P. Russell Elementary School will receive a $5,000 donation from Burlington to celebrate the grand opening of its new store at 8:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 18. During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, located at 655 W. Illinois Ave., Burlington will surprise students, teachers, and staff with a jumbo check presentation. The donation will be split among the school's teachers to purchase much-needed classroom supplies, supporting students' learning experiences.

Fam Jam will provide free resources and prizes this weekend
Dallas ISD invites all W.T. White High School families to join this weekend's FamJam event. Starting at 9 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 19, attendees can receive free immunizations, participate in hands-on activities, explore school and community resources, win exciting prizes, and more. This is a great opportunity to connect with the local community and discover programs.
