The Ohio AgriBusiness Association (OABA) is proud to announce the 2025 Honorary Membership recipients: Eric Parthemore and David Wurm. This prestigious recognition is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated exemplary service to Ohio's agribusiness industry and OABA.
Eric Parthemore, of Marysville, Ohio, is recognized for his outstanding career in agribusiness leadership. As President and CEO of Heritage Cooperative, he transformed one of Ohio's oldest cooperatives into a top USDA 100 Farmer Cooperative. Parthemore also served in key leadership roles, including on The Ohio AgriBusiness Association Board and the Ohio Governor's Advisory Committee, making significant contributions to the industry.
David Wurm, of Tiffin, Ohio, has dedicated his career to bringing innovative agronomic practices and technologies to Ohio's growers. From innovative no-till farming practices to introducing bio-stimulants and nitrogen protection methods, Wurm's contributions have significantly shaped Ohio's agricultural landscape. His two terms on the OABA Board of Directors showcased his commitment to supporting and growing Ohio agribusiness.
"Honorary Membership is one of the highest honors bestowed by OABA, recognizing individuals who have left a lasting impact on the agribusiness community," said Melinda Witten, OABA President and CEO. "Both Eric and David exemplify the leadership, innovation, and service that define our industry's finest."
The honorees will be celebrated during the 2025 OABA Industry Conference on January 29 at the Columbus Renaissance Westerville. The event will bring together agribusiness leaders to share expertise, discuss emerging trends, and honor outstanding achievements within the industry.
