Carter congratulates President elect Donald Trump, opens inauguration ticket application for GA 01

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Rep. Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (R-GA) today delivered the following statement congratulating President-elect Donald J. Trump on his decisive victory:

"Georgians showed up and helped deliver a historic victory for President-elect Donald Trump. This election was about opportunity. The left talked about creating an opportunity economy, but Trump delivered it when he lowered taxes and cost of living, and that's why America is sending him back to the White House. Now, we have the opportunity to right-size the economy, secure our border, restore our respect on the world stage, combat the fentanyl crisis, re-establish law and order in our cities, and make America great once again.
