From 2 September to 1 October 2024, holders of a General Certificate of Secondary Education from the 2023/2024 school year who do not yet have any plans to continue their higher education or any job prospects can enrol in the Diplom+ course.
Acquire additional skills while waiting for higher education or to enter the professional world
Launched in 2020, this three-term course enables participants who have successfully completed a Secondary school leaving diploma in classical or general secondary education, a technician's diploma or any other secondary school leaving certificate recognised as equivalent, to acquire additional skills while waiting to enter higher education or the workforce.
Three terms, 25 hours a week on average
The course, which lasts an average of 25 hours a week, is organised on a modular basis. Modules common to the 1st term include career guidance, job preparation, time and stress management, first aid and communication. In the second term, participants have a choice of three module 'packs': craft, IT design and IT. Finally, the third term is devoted to a practical project in the form of a work placement within a company or organisation.
Diplom+ training is offered in Differdange, Esch-sur-Alzette and Warken.
Interested parties can register until 1 October 2024 using the online registration form.
