MARIPOSA COUNTY - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route-140 (SR-140) for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 49
One-way traffic control from North SR-140 to Mount Bullion Cutoff Road for pavement work beginning Monday, August 12, through Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
One-way traffic control from Mount Bullion Cutoff Road to Bear Valley Road for pavement work beginning Thursday, August 15, through Friday, August 16, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
State Route 140
One-way traffic control from beginning of the passing lane in Catheys Valley to State Route 49 for pavement work beginning Sunday, August 11, through Monday, August 12, from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and Tuesday August 13, through Friday, August 16, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
One-way traffic control from Whitlock Road to Briceburg for pavement work beginning Monday, August 12, through Friday, August 16, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
One-way traffic control from Whitlock Road to Yosemite National Park for pavement work beginning Sunday, August 11, through Friday, August 16, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
One-way traffic control from State Route 49 North to Whitlock Road for crack and seal operations beginning Monday, August 5, through Friday, August 9, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
