Rack Program Offers Cleanup Help

A party is tons of fun - and creates tons of trash.

The Township is here to help residents clean up after block parties, graduation gatherings, or any celebration in Cranberry.

Cranberry's rack program provides a trash rack, a recycling rack, and two bags for each to make cleanup a little calmer. There is a limit of two sets per rental.

Racks are free to use and can be picked up at the Township Public Works Facility from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Racks must be returned within three days after the event to avoid a $25 fee being added to the monthly utility bill.

Borrowers must dispose of the trash themselves. Each bag that does not fit into a trash bin requires an extra bag collection sticker, which can be purchased through Customer Service. Recycling items should be put into the clear bags furnished by the Township and placed curbside on collection day.
