NOTICE OF LOCATION AND DESIGN APPROVAL PROJECT No. PR-IMP(290)(SR120CONN)-(1)

PAULDING COUNTY

Notice is hereby given in compliance with Georgia Code 22-2-109 and 32-3-5 that the Paulding County Department of Transportation has approved the Location and Design of this project.

The date of location and design approval is: August 23, 2024

The proposed project aims to improve the safety and operations of Hiram Sudie Road (SR 120 Connector) at Davis Mill Road North/ Davis Mill Road South by constructing a single lane roundabout and realigning a portion of Davis Mill Road North. The intersection currently operates as an all-way stop controlled intersection. The overall length of the project is approximately 0.32 miles. The project is located in Paulding County, located approximately 5.4 miles southeast of the City of Dallas. Parcels lie within the 2nd District, 3^rd Section of Paulding County and within Land Lots 809 & 810. The project is not expected to need an off-site detour and the intersection will remain open to traffic during construction. The project timeline will be approximately 30 months.

Drawings or maps or plats of the proposed project, as approved, are on file and are available for public inspection at the Paulding County Department of Transportation. Any interested party may obtain a copy of the drawings or maps or plats or portions thereof by paying a nominal fee and requesting in writing to:
