Join an unforgettable evening at the Amplify 817 Showcase, a special concert highlighting a dynamic and diverse mix of Amplify 817 musicians.

Event details: 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at Fort Brewery. Admission is free, courtesy of the Fort Worth Public Library and generous donors through the Fort Worth Public Library Foundation. Ample, free parking is available on the streets around Fort Brewery.

About Amplify 817: Amplify 817 is dedicated to supporting local musicians by providing up-front compensation to stream their music and offering opportunities for growth through media training, marketing support and paid performance opportunities at special events. This initiative not only empowers musicians but also enriches the community by making locally created music easily accessible.

Applications to join Amplify 817 are accepted twice a year. A group of expert curators collaborates to select the musicians who will be part of the program. Those chosen are paid up-front for the rights to offer their music free to stream on the Amplify 817 website for three years.

For the public, Amplify 817 serves as a one-stop shop to discover and enjoy music from musicians who regularly perform in Fort Worth.
