Tree Cutting Notice for the Jackrabbit Ski Trail Reroute
This project will relocate a section of the Jackrabbit Ski Trail that currently follows Mountain Lane, a paved and plowed town road. This project will build a half-mile-long ski trail to route skiers off the road. All standing vegetation in this corridor will be removed. Other than the removal of large woody debris, no ground alteration will occur. This project includes the cutting and removal of 152 trees.
Public comments on the proposed work plan will be received until July 31, 2024.
