USS Salem Technical Rescue Exercise at Quincy Shipyard

On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, Tech Rescue Firefighters from Cambridge, Chelsea, Brockton, Quincy,Revere, & Somerville Fire Departments participated in a Technical Rescue exercise at the USS Salem in Quincy at the Fore River Shipyard. Following the safety & ops briefing & securing of equipment, all firefighters worked on tech rescue skills including confined space rescue & hi-angle/rope rescue on this navy heavy cruiser.
