These projects will significantly enhance the county's water and wastewater infrastructure, providing residents and businesses with improved services.

Board President Kathryn Whittington expressed the importance of these initiatives in supporting the county's growth and sustainability. "Today marks an important step forward for Ashtabula County," said Commissioner Whittington. "The Coffee Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant will provide much-needed capacity to support our growing communities, protect our natural resources, and improve the quality of life for our residents."

The Coffee Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant will expand the county's ability to manage wastewater in a more efficient and environmentally friendly manner, ensuring that the community can continue to thrive without compromising its natural surroundings. In addition to the wastewater plant, the South River Road Waterline project will address critical water service needs for residents and businesses in the area. Commissioner Casey Kozlowski highlighted the collaborative effort behind the projects, noting, "These projects reflect what can be accomplished when local governments, state agencies, and community stakeholders work together.
