City of Greater Sudbury and CUPE 4705 Housing Unit Reach Tentative Agreement

The City of Greater Sudbury and the CUPE 4705 Housing Unit have reached a tentative collective bargaining agreement.

As next steps, the CUPE executive team will hold ratification meetings with their membership. Until the deal is ratified, and to respect the process CUPE will use to consult with their membership, we will not share details of the agreement at this time. The City and CUPE are pleased with the tentative agreement reached and look forward to seeing it ratified.

The terms of the agreement will be presented to City Council in Closed Session, as permitted under the Municipal Act, on September 3, 2024.
