CalHFA eNews: Grand Opening for The Atchison

CalHFA Board Member AnaMarie Avila Farias and members of the CalHFA Multifamily Division staff represented the Agency at today's Grand Opening for The Atchison, a 202-unit affordable housing development in the city of Pittsburg, Contra Costa county.

Approved for a loan through CalHFA's Mixed-Income Program (MIP) in 2020, The Atchison was constructed in collaboration with Corporation for Better Housing, Integrated Community Development, CTCAC and various private partners.

MIP launched in 2019 following the passage of the Building Homes and Jobs Act, and in that time has provided financing to help construct 9,684 units of affordable housing at a mix of income levels.
