U.S. News & World Report names UC Davis Children’s Hospital among best children’s hospitals for 2024-2025

UC Davis Children's Hospital has been recognized as a 2024-2025 Best Children's Hospital by U.S. News & World Report.

The annual Best Children's Hospitals rankings, now in its 18th year, assist parents and caregivers, along with their physicians, in how to choose the best possible care for children with serious illnesses or complex medical needs.

UC Davis Children's Hospital is nationally ranked among the nation's 50 best in five specialty care areas:

• 23^rd in nephrology
• 26^th in neonatology
• 32^nd in pediatric orthopedics, which was awarded in collaboration with Shriners Children's - Northern California, UC Davis Children's Hospital's longstanding partner in caring for children with burns, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic disorders and urological issues
• 36^th nationally in pediatric pulmonology and lung surgery
• Top 50 in pediatric and adolescent behavioral health

Regionally, UC Davis Children's Hospital was ranked 7^th in California and 8^th in the Pacific Region, which includes Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington.

U.S. News, together with RTI International, a North Carolina-based research and consulting firm, collected and analyzed data from 108 children's hospitals and surveyed thousands of pediatric specialists. Children's hospitals awarded a "Best" designation excelled at factors such as clinical outcomes, level and quality of hospital resources directly related to patient care and expert opinion among pediatric specialists.
