Senator Marshall Visits FirePoint Innovation

Wichita, KS - U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. visited FirePoint Innovations in Wichita, KS this past week. FirePoint Innovations is a partnership between Wichita State and the Army's Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation and Missile Center. The program is dedicated to facilitating the Department of Defense (DOD) collaboration between U.S. government entities and the private sector to accelerate innovation and development. Last year, FirePoint was selected to deliver Defense Innovation OnRamp Hub programming for the National Security Innovation Network - just one of five such facilities across the country, and the only one on a college campus.

"FirePoint Innovations is leading the nation in innovative defense technology," said Senator Marshall. "FirePoint Innovations and Wichita State are doing a great job helping keep America safe for generations to come."
