Bridge Fire Update

Rancho Cucamonga Fire and City Officials are monitoring the Bridge Fire incident closely. The #BridgeFire began on Sunday, September

8th in the Angeles National Forest, near the Los Angeles County line. About 300 firefighters from multiple agencies are working to stop the forward progress of this fire. However, hot temperatures, dry fuels, and steep terrain have challenged firefighting conditions. While this fire is being aggressively attacked from both ground and air, depending on conditions, the fire could eventually approach Rancho Cucamonga.

We encourage residents who live along the northern border to remain vigilant and continue to follow RCFD for updates related to the City of Rancho Cucamonga on our social media platforms - Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and Nextdoor. Please note that out of an abundance of caution, fire officials are closing the North Etiwanda Preserve effective immediately until further notice to conserve resources.
