First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska participated in the launch of eight Ukrainian-language audio guides in the Vatican Museums.

These audio guides are unique, comprising 19 hours of narrated text voiced by prominent Ukrainians, including artists, TV hosts, athletes, and Ukraine's Ambassador to the Vatican, Andrii Yurash.

"The recording process was challenging, interrupted by air raid alarms and power outages in Kyiv. Between narrating stories of eternal values, artists, and art, the voice actors and sound engineers had to rush to bomb shelters. It's a terrible contrast that Ukraine is living in now," the First Lady noted.

A total of 93 Ukrainian-language audio guides are now available in 50 countries worldwide, and Olena Zelenska affirmed that the project will continue.

"This is for our fellow citizens who found themselves abroad on a difficult path, and for our language itself, which has the right to be heard. Thank you to everyone who wants to and does hear Ukraine. Thank you to the Vatican, our Embassy, which worked tirelessly on this, and all those involved. Let art, history, culture, and spirituality speak," the First Lady emphasized.

On the same day, Olena Zelenska handed over a collection of books to the Vatican Library. This will establish a Ukrainian bookshelf, offering deeper insights into Ukrainian history and contemporary life.
