Paradiso Risks Joins Alive Risk, Bringing an International Event Contingency Portfolio

DECEMBER 13, 2024 | CHICAGO, IL - Ryan Specialty (NYSE: RYAN), a leading international specialty insurance firm, is pleased to announce that Paradiso Risks ("Paradiso") is joining Alive Risk, Ryan Specialty's sports, leisure and entertainment ("SLE") managing general underwriter ("MGU"). Paradiso is a specialty managing general underwriter focusing on contingency and non-appearance insurance. It joined the firm as part of the Castel Underwriting Agencies acquisition on May 1, 2024.

Founded in 2022, Paradiso has established itself as a premier underwriter of contingency insurance in the event cancellation and non-appearance vertical for risks in the U.S., U.K., and continental Europe. The Paradiso team has more than 35 years' experience between two underwriters, spanning actuarial, underwriting and broking.
