Your Stuff Deserves a Second Chance!

In recognition of the many benefits of reuse, Morgan Hill, South County, and Gilroy hold their annual "Second Chance Week" each September. "Second Chance Week" is a full week of events designed to give your stuff a second chance!

Schedule for September 14 - 22

With the goal of keeping materials out of landfills, "Second Chance Week" features a different way to Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle each day of the week:

• Saturday, 9/14 and Sunday, 9/15: Gilroy Garage Sale, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Deadline to apply is September 10.
• Monday, 9/16: "Universal Waste Awareness Day"
• Tuesday, 9/17: "Trash Nothing Day"
• Wednesday, 9/18: "Donate Coats for Kids and Adults Too Day" 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Thursday, 9/19: "Second Sight Day" Donate old eyeglasses, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Friday, 9/20: "Recycle Your Cycle Day" 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Morgan Hill
  & 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. in Gilroy
• Saturday, 9/21 and Sunday, 9/22: Morgan Hill/South County Citywide Garage Sale, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Deadline to apply is September 13.

Check back here on September 13 after 12 p.m. for a link to the interactive map of garage sale locations the Friday before the Gilroy Citywide Garage Sale.

A list of participating garage sale locations will also be available on September 20 after 12 p.m. showing multiple locations throughout Morgan Hill, including City Hall, Centennial Recreation Center, Community & Cultural Center, and the Library.
