"The enactment of the original ACE Act in 2020 was a significant step forward in protecting the Chesapeake Bay for future generations," said Congressman Scott. "This reauthorization will build on that progress for the Bay and protect and enhance wildlife and habitat throughout the country. The original ACE Actalso included my Chesapeake WILD Actwhich established a new grant program that has brought millions of dollars in grant funding to my district and helped clean up the Bay, enhanced fish and wildlife habitats, mitigated flooding and increased recreational opportunities throughout the watershed. I am proud to see continued bipartisan support for the Chesapeake WILD program, and I look forward to seeing President Biden sign this reauthorization into law."
