Join Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) for the third annual Dahlgren Downtown, Friday, Oct. 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Inn at the Old Silk Mill in Fredericksburg.

For the first year, we are excited to bring demos to the community featuring real-life robots, virtual reality, the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team and unmanned aerial vehicles/unmanned aerial systems.

In addition to demos, explore STEM activities ranging from the SeaPerch pool to liquid nitrogen.

Dive into the rich history of the U.S. Navy and Dahlgren and get up close with a real range boat.

Discover advanced technology showcasing the innovation at NSWCDD ranging from hypersonics to lasers.

Learn about the division's recruiting opportunities including internships for high schoolers and college students.

We plan on welcoming field trips with Battlefield Elementary School, Battlefield Middle School, Chancellor Middle School, King George Middle School and Richmond County Elementary/Middle School.

Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to learn, explore and have fun with the whole community!
