King of Prussia, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that North Penn Water Authority will be performing utility improvements on Route 463 (West Broad Street) in Hatfield Borough, Montgomery County, beginning Wednesday, October 9.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
  • Wednesday, October 9, through Friday, December 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Route 463 (West Broad Street) will be closed and detoured weekdays between Route 463 (Main Street) and Towamencin Avenue. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 463 (Main Street/Cowpath Road), Orvilla Road, and Route 63 (Welsh Road).
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
