Big changes to Boise State researcher profiles are coming soon. The system that supports the current SelectedWorks profiles is being replaced at the end of 2024. This change comes with several improvements and a few notable updates that may impact users.
What's Changing
-
New URLs: Profiles will have new web addresses. Users be notified when the updated addresses are ready.
-
Usage data: SelectedWorks usage data will no longer be available. Users will need to gather any data prior to the end of the year. Note that this is only for SelectedWorks profiles; ScholarWorks usage data will remain available. This SelectedWorks Profile Transition FAQ document outlines the steps to secure user data.
-
Inclusion of student mentored work: Student-mentored work will not be displayed on profiles initially. However, this feature is planned for future development.
