Women Don’t “Love” Donald Trump and His Anti-Choice Project 2025 Agenda — and He Knows it Arrow

As Donald Trump once again tries to cover for his dangerous and unpopular record of failing women, DNC Spokesperson Aida Ross released the following statement:

"After conceding that he doesn't 'do as well with American women,' Donald Trump's latest desperate lie is that women 'love' him - despite his dangerous anti-choice record - in yet another unhinged and delusional rant. Women know Trump is 'proudly' the reason for cruel abortion bans across the country, which he says are 'working very beautifully' as women die preventable deaths. No eleventh hour spin changes the truth, and voters across America will reject Trump's anti-women Project 2025 agenda this November."

TODAY: Donald Trump tried to cover for his dangerous and wildly unpopular Project 2025 agenda and record of ripping away women's freedoms.

Trump: "I think I do very well with women […] without abortion, the women love me."

  • Navigator Research:"A Majority of Americans Continue to Oppose Project 2025 […] In an open-ended question asking those who have read, seen, or heard at least some about Project 2025, 'Trump' and 'abortion' have become increasingly cited by respondents over the last two months."
  • GSG: "Project 2025 is deeply unpopular and seen as extreme and harmful. 52% of voters are unfavorable toward Project 2025 … Among voters who are familiar with it, 72% oppose the policies and ideas of Project 2025 … 77% of women, 67% of men, and 80% of suburban women oppose it."
  • KFF: "Three in four reproductive age women in the United States think abortion should be legal in most or all cases (74%). The majority support a nationwide right to abortion (70%), oppose a nationwide abortion ban at 15 weeks (64%), and oppose leaving it up to the states to determine the legality of abortion (74%)."
  • USA Today: "Americans overwhelmingly oppose the next goal of many anti-abortion activists, to enact a federal law banning abortion nationwide. By 80%-14%, those surveyed opposed that idea, including 65% of Republicans and 83% of independents."
  • Axios: "Most Americans support abortion access one year after Roe v. Wade: poll"

REALITY CHECK: Trump consistently failed women and put their rights at risk as president, including by "proudly" overturning Roe v. Wade and paving the way for extreme abortion bans.

TRUMP'S PROJECT 2025 AGENDA:If given the chance, Trump and his MAGA allies will take his anti-women MAGA extremism even further in a second term.

LIKE HE SAID:

Trump: "I hear that I don't do as well with American women."
