Armstrong County Seal Coat Operations Begin Monday

Indiana, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is announcing seal coating operations are scheduled on multiple roadways from July 22 through August 27 7 AM to 5 PM in Armstrong County.

Locations include:

  • Route 536 between Mayport Road and Pierce Road in Redbank Township
  • Route 839 between Dayton Borough and Putneyville Road in Dayton Borough, Wayne Township, Redbank Township, and Mahoning Township
  • Route 1012 between Route 839 and Route 3004 in Redbank Township
  • Route 1013 between Dayton Road and Oak Hill Road in Redbank Township
  • Route 1014 between Crossroads Road and Route 3002 in Redbank Township
  • Route 1015 between Dayton Road and Oak Ridge Road in Redbank Township
  • Route 1017 between Salem Road and Route 536 in Redbank Township
  • Route 1018 between Route 28 to State Street in Wayne Township and Dayton Borough
  • Route 1019 between Route 1017 to Punxsutawney Road in Redbank Township
  • Route 1020 between Route 1028 to Main Street in Wayne Township
  • Route 1023 between Main Street to Maple Leaf Road in Wayne Township and Dayton Borough
  • Route 1027 between Route 1018 to Route 28 in Boggs Township
  • Route 1028 between Route 28 to Route 839 in Valley Township, Wayne Township, and Cowanshannock Township
  • Route 1035 between Route 85 to Route 28 in Cowanshannock Twp and Boggs Township.
  • Route 1037 between Main Street to Route 1018 in Cowanshannock Township and Wayne Township.
  • Route 2003 between Route 210 to Margaret Road in Plumcreek Township and Cowanshannock Township

Work is weather dependent. Motorists should allow extra travel time due to lane restrictions which may cause delays.

The $2 million project is to be completed by contractor, Young Blood Paving, Inc., of Wampum, PA.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 950 traffic cameras.
