NCPD’s Reggie Sharpe educating officers about mental illness

Over the past weekend, Master Police Officer Reggie Sharpe attended the annual local fundraiser for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Officer Sharpe serves on the organization's board of directors and emphasizes NAMI's mission to educate police officers for better outcomes in mental health crises. He firmly believes that education and training are essential in dealing with the mentally ill and is proud to represent the NCPD in achieving this goal.
