Sign Up Now To Run Through New Brunswick For Charity on Dec. 14

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (November 21, 2024) - Get ready to run through the streets of New Brunswick on Dec. 14 as part of The Rutgers Big Chill 5K charitable event that has served the Rutgers University-New Brunswick community since 2003.

Organizers are offering both an in-person and a virtual race. The in-person race will occur at 10 a.m. The Rutgers Big Chill has been a staple within the Rutgers University-New Brunswick community for more than two decades and is enjoyed by thousands of runners yearly.

Registration is free and must be done in person at the Youth Sports Complex, 419 Joyce Kilmer Ave., to ensure that those who sign up are committed to joining in the fun.

We're also in need of volunteer referees, a score keeper, an announcer, a photographer and possibly a videographer. Please email nbrecreation@cityofnewbrunswick.org with any questions or if you are interested in volunteering.

Cash donations benefit the No Hungry Knights Scholarship Fund supporting Rutgers students with food insecurities. Toy donations benefit children in the New Brunswick community.
