Osaki Submitted a Commitment Letter to SBTi

Osaki Electric Co., Ltd, EDMI's parent company in Japan, announced that they have signed and submitted a commitment letter to the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) as the first step toward gaining certification of Science Based Targets (SBTs) for Osaki Group's near-term targets.

Osaki Group has set a goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from Scope 1 and 2 by 46% (compared to fiscal 2013 levels) by fiscal 2030. They also plan to address the environmental impact of the entire supply chain by formulating reduction targets, including Scope 3, within the next two years.

As part of the Osaki Group, EDMI will follow these targets, working with our stakeholders and business partners to minimise environmental impact and promote the sustainable development of society.
