Ambassador Tigran Galstyan had a meeting with Mihnea Costoiu, Rector of the Politehnica University of Bucharest

On 13 June, Tigran Galstyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Romania, had a meeting with Mihnea Costoiu, Rector of the Politehnica University of Bucharest.

The perspectives of bilateral cooperation in the field of education and science, the activation of inter-university contacts, aimed at the exchange of teachers and students, as well as the initiative of the Romanian side to grant scholarships to the Armenian citizens for higher education were touched upon during the meeting.

The possibility of establishing cooperation between educational institutions within the framework of the International Organization of Francophonie was addressed, welcoming the establishment of the House of Francophonie on the territory of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, which will host the participants of the Summer University of Francophonie, including a large group of students from Armenia.

At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia, accompanied by the Rector, made a tour of the university.
