Hilcorp Alaska, LLC, Pretty Creek Unit, Pretty Creek 2 Pad Expansion Unit Plan of Operations Amendment

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas (Division) received a Unit Plan of Operations Amendment application on November 5, 2024, from Hilcorp Alaska, LLC (Hilcorp) requesting authorization to expand Pretty Creek 2 Pad. The proposed project will be adjudicated under AS 38.05 and 11 AAC 83.346. The Division is providing public notice and an opportunity to comment.

Applicant: Hilcorp

Project ID: LOCI 79-012

Location: State land within the Susitna Flats State Game Refuge

Project Description:

Hilcorp proposes to expand the existing Pretty Creek 2 Pad. The pad expansion would have a footprint of 1.3 acres with 11,600 cubic yards of gravel fill being used for the project. The project would involve the placement of gravel fill abutting existing infrastructure to support future drilling of new development wells and increased gas production within the Pretty Creek Unit. The expansion has been designed to be the smallest achievable footprint that allows for rig placement, associated well drilling activities, and facilities access. Gravel is proposed to be placed in the late fall of 2024 and early winter of 2025.

The application package is available for review at the Division's Permitting Section, 550 West 7th Avenue, Suite 1100, Anchorage, AK 99501 or online at http://dog.dnr.alaska.gov/Newsroom.
