Bridge work on U.S. Route 63 in Columbia is ongoing…

Single lane closures from Route B to Range Line

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - If you're headed to the Boone County fair, you may want to plan a bit more travel time to get there. Bridge approach work on U.S. Route 63 in Columbia is ongoing. One lane will remain open in each direction, but the passing lane on both northbound and southbound Route 63 will be closed around the clock likely until mid-late August from Boone County Route B to Missouri Route 763 (Range Line Street).

This work, as well as upcoming pavement repair, is in preparation for a larger resurfacing that is scheduled for this area later this year.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.

MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones. Motorists are advised to use extra caution through work zones, obey all traffic signs, and avoid any distractions.
