Washington - October 15, 2024: Crowell & Moring has been shortlisted in three categories for the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers North America 2024 awards. The awards honor the innovative ways lawyers are delivering value for clients and driving positive change in the profession.
Crowell is shortlisted in the following categories:
The firm was recognized for its development of CrowellAI, an in-house generative AI platform, along with robust and unique ethical usage guidelines and guardrails. In addition, Alma Asay, Crowell's Chief Innovation & Value Officer, was shortlisted in the Legal Intrapreneur category for her leadership in developing CrowellAI and other innovation initiatives throughout the firm.
Crowell was also shortlisted in the Innovative Lawyers in Pro Bono category for its work with the ACLU of Maryland in securing history-making election reform, with a landmark settlement in a federal lawsuit that challenged 200 years of discrimination against Black voters in the Town of Federalsburg, Maryland.
Winners will be announced at an awards gala in New York on December 9.
