Kirkland Advises Bain Capital Insurance on Joint Venture with WTW

Kirkland & Ellis is advising private investment firm Bain Capital Insurance, the dedicated insurance investment business of Bain Capital, on a reinsurance brokerage joint venture with WTW (NASDAQ: WTW). The new company will combine WTW's leading global network and expertise in insurance broking, consulting and technology with Bain Capital's scaled team of insurance industry experts and track record of building and growing innovative insurance businesses across the value chain. WTW will hold a minority share of the new company.
