Vacancy announced on Board of Adjustment and Appeals

Applications are being accepted for one appointment for a term of four years as the individual appointment for Commissioner Chris Latvala for the Pinellas County Board of Adjustment and Appeals (BAA).

The BAA has the authority to grant variances, nonconforming use modifications and Type 2 Use approvals in appropriate cases and to hear appeals of County department and decisions. This is a working board and is seeking a permanent member who can dedicate the time to attend monthly meetings on a consistent basis. Applicants must be registered to vote in Pinellas County.

The BAA consists of seven members. Meetings of the BAA are held on a monthly basis, usually the first Wednesday at 9 a.m. Board positions are unpaid, voluntary positions.
