Instacart has extended its Ads Academy into Canada, offering tailored training and certification for Canadian brands and agencies to improve their campaign performance on Instacart.
Ads Academy provides a self-serve, self-paced online learning environment. The curriculum includes accessible, multimedia lessons that cover an introduction to Instacart and its advertising offering, as well as in-depth lessons on various ad formats, including sponsored product, display, shoppable display, and shoppable video ads. This expansion builds on the recent release of advanced Instacart ad capabilities in Canada, including display and shoppable formats that allow brands to reach and more deeply engage with consumers throughout their shopping journey.
"We're continuing to invest in tools and resources that support Canadian brands' success," said Graham Edward, Head of Canadian Brand Partnerships at Instacart. "Our expanded advertising capabilities and the introduction of Ads Academy represent an important step in our commitment to the Canadian market. With our display ad formats, brands can develop engaging campaigns that reach consumers throughout their shopping experience. We're proud to partner with KINESSO leaders in the Canadian commerce space, to help their clients drive meaningful results on Instacart."
In the U.S., more than 20 agency partners have participated in Ads Academy. Now, Canadian agencies and advertisers can access the same high-quality training.
KINESSO is the first to fully certify their Canadian team using Ads Academy.
"We are focused on delivering a customer-centric approach to Retail Media performance by unifying capabilities, tactics, and talent in one single view," said Emmanuel Lafleur-Velasco, VP, Head of eCommerce, KINESSO Canada. "Instacart's Ads Academy has been a great resource for our specialist teams, aligning with our ambition to be at the forefront of leveraging advanced platform capabilities to drive Total Commerce excellence and incremental sales. Instacart's commitment to developing innovative advertising offerings enables us to maximize the business potential for our clients, as we continue to drive brand value by optimizing media investment across retailers."
With the introduction of robust display ad formats, optimized bidding capabilities, and this expanded training offering, Instacart is reinforcing its commitment to empower Canadian brands and agencies to succeed in the quickly-evolving retail media space.
