State Police Investigate Fatal Brunswick Crash

On August 23, 2024, State Police responded to Tamarac Road in Brunswick, NY, for the reports of a two-car crash.

On August 23, 2024, at about 11: 37 a.m. Troopers responded to the reports of a two-car crash with severe injuries on Tamarac Road in Brunswick, NY. Sadly, Richard F. Turner, 66, of Troy, NY, was declared deceased at the scene. Another individual was transported to Albany Medical Center with serious injuries, where they remain in stable condition.

Tamarac Road was closed in both directions between John Snyder Road and Old Siek Road for approximately seven hours for reconstruction and investigation.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
