Three Shelters Close, Babcock Ranch School Field House Shelter Remains Open

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Oct. 10, 2024) - The shelters at Kingsway Elementary School, Babcock Neighborhood Schools and Harold Avenue Regional Park Recreation Center are closed. The shelter at Babcock Ranch School Field House at 43281 Cypress Parkway, in Punta Gorda remains open and is accepting residents.

For recovery information, call the Charlotte County Emergency Operations Center at 941-833-4000 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
