COP17 to be held in Armenia (07.11.24)

France is delighted that Armenia will be hosting the next Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the Convention on Biodiversity (CBD) in 2026.

France strongly supported this decision, which was voted on by the Parties to the CBD at the COP16 in Calí. France will stand with Armenia to make this future COP a success. This event will be crucial to the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
