Volusia County to Distribute Thanksgiving Meals to Veterans

Volusia County's Veterans Services Division will celebrate Thanksgiving by distributing meals to 175 veteran families.

Each box, which can feed a family of six, has been donated by the Volusia Basket Brigade, a nonprofit organization that prepares and delivers Thanksgiving boxes to families in need. With proof of military service, veterans can pick up a box of food at these Veterans Services offices from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, on a first-come, first-served basis and while supplies last:
